Mt. Fuji Japan

This year the F1 Gran Prix of Japan will be hosted by the Toyota owned Mount Fuji International Speedway. The track is located in the foothills of Mount Fuji, in Oyama, Sunto District, Shizuoka Prefecture.

The race will be held in the shadow of Mount Fuji, Japan's most recognizable geographic feature. However the peak is NOT covered in snow!

Is this a sign of global warming/climate change? And should high revving, high octane, race cars continue to race in such an environment?

I'm so torn between my love of natural beauty and machines. What does anyone else think?
