MP3 player or a IPod?

my 30gb ipod is crack. you cannot touch it, you cannot see it. i fucking love it. i had a sony 1gb boy, but it sucked.

have had an ipod sittin around for over a year, still havent used it. not sure where to get music for it without dropping a lot of cash. i think it is about a dollar a song. looking to upload music from my cd collection, but haven't gotten around to it.

My Nano locked up once & I just went to the website to trouble shoot it & its still kickin Ass!

I'm all about the iPod. I bought a 60Gb video iPod about a year and a half ago and have never had a single problem with it. It's never frozen, never let me down. I can listen to music everywhere I go, and when I'm bored riding on the bus, I can watch episodes of South Park, or good porn clips. Can't beat that. And it IS an mp3 player. If you have songs in .wma format, iTunes will convert them before putting them on the iPod, but if they're already in mp3, it just transfers them over.

iPod fucking sucks, dude. My iPod has been ignoring a few of my tracks lately, it quickly loses energy and overall it's just sucky. Buy a Creative instead, much better.

Hmm... still have a hard time to decide what to buy. Between all the iPod which one you will recommend me?

iPod Shuffle, iPod Nano, iPod Classic or iPod Touch? Or are they all the same?

I checked out Creative's stuff and got confused. Is ZEN like the iPod as in its play musics and videos? While MuVo just play music?

Another questions.
1. After I bought any of those. Do I ever have to pay anything other thing after? Like a monthly fee?

Am I forced to get my musics from iTune? Is it free or I have to pay for each of them? Can't I just upload my musics file in my computer to my players with a USB cable?

What kind of battery they use? Are they rechargeable?

shuffle - without display/just plays your tracks randomized

nano and classic - actually the same but the nano is way smaller (size and memory)

touch - with touchscreen and W-Lan / looks like the iPhone / very expensive and maximum 8gb

Well I just checked my shop who sell those players. And I think I will forgot about any iPod since they are all expensive.

So my choice is between Creative Lab's Zen 8GB or Sony's Walkman Video 4GB.

Creative's Zen 8GB

Sony's Walkman Video 4GB

Unless you have any other suggestion in this list?

So if I understand correctly, I can upload my music files already in my computer? And since its 8 GB which pretty a lot and it can play MPEG files, that mean I can upload some of my porn movie files?

It says that the battery are build-in, does that mean when its dead, I can't put new batteries?

Some of my friends tell I should rather buy a Playstation Portable since it does all that and allow me to use internet and play games on it.

Should I saty with the Creative player or the PSP?

I ordered a 80GB IPod Classic this morning.

I briefly considered others, but none compared (IMO) to the iPod in user interface, design or build quality. (Not to mention synching with iTunes - and not the store.)
