yes yes, it's true: the most popular name for baby boys born in england in 2009 was mohammed. it was already the most popular name in the world according to fogel, but now it seems it has caught on in england as well.

a german news site, Premium Link Upgrade , says that while oliver, jack and harry do lead the list, when the 12 (!) different spellings of mohammed that are on the list are added up they surpass all other names and thus become number one.
well, at least the english seem to have more taste with girl's names, as the top one is olivia.
