I don't know why it bothers me, but it just does. I don't understand how certain athletes get such a HUGE hype and other athletes, who are producing just as much, if not more, don't get talked about at all.
In my opinion...
Most Over-Rated: LeBron James
It's probably because I'm originally from Cleveland, but LeBron James is not/NEVER WILL BE the next Michael Jordan. I'm tired of people blaming all of his bad games and inability to come through in the clutch on his age. First of all, he's 22 years old. There are plenty of 22 year olds in the league that are performing quite well. On top of that, he's had 4 years in the league and still hasn't developed much as a player. He RARELY comes through in the clutch (go ahead, bring up his 48 point game against the Pistons...but don't forget to mention the 2 overtimes he had to score those points). He takes ill-advised shots at crucial times during a lot of his games, which is something that he shouldn't be doing anymore. Yeah, he makes a FEW of them, but most of them are complete bricks or air balls. I admit, he is a good basketball player, I'm not taking that away from him...but he's not THAT good. Overhyped? Yes.
