Who's fault is it, the complainer or the reason for the complainer, especially then the complainer has legitimate reasoning? I'm not going to hold back on the truth just to keep some other person that's an adult's feelings from getting potentially hurt, even an OCSM..
This is commendable. Not worrying about people's feelings and giving personal opinion makes 1st Amendment Rights great.
Also, In my defense I'm also arguing from a practicality standpoint that it latterly makes the thread harder to keep up with and understand when so much is posted, especially pictures. I'm not a fan of coming here and reading through pages of things put up in a chaotic manner and strewn all over the place by people trying to get attention. Maybe a different thread should be created for that, or maybe people should be confined to their own threads in that respect. I'm not sure what the best solution would be. There was a reason the "Mob Thread" got put in the Post Games section last year when the contest was going on. Things got out of hand. (The fact I'm on dial-up and a thread chalked full of continuous pictures can take fifteen minutes to fully download doesn't help anything where I'm concerned either.
1. If this thread is too chaotic and crazy for you, then go to a different thread. Easy solution. If you need "vital information" from the contest, I'm sure a quick post to Petra or another moderator would be the solution to that problem.
2. Still on dial-up? You can get DSL at nearly the same rate for what you're paying that will give you a better transfer rate.
Both of these are practical solutions to your critique.
On the non-practicality standpoint, I also think the vote begging that often goes along with this is a little sad and sometimes borderline pathetic. I'm not trying to be purposely mean when I say that, but I don't know how else to put it other than that and have the way I feel and the meaning behind it be accurate and true. Being nice to the fans, being grateful for them, and appreciating them is one thing. The ladies offering their opinion of how things are going so far is one thing. Even offering the fans some goodies to entice them is one thing, and I'm glad they do it for people that like that. Somebody taking things to the point of where they start to reek of desperation in a contest like this is something else and is very off putting to me. There comes a point where I draw the line.
I enjoy being a pathetic vote begging non-trolling bastard who likes pictures. Your conscience is your limitation. Glad you have it. I, on the other hand, will continue to be pathetic until the day that I leave Freeones or one of the OCSM's take me a on date, which will never happen. I'm glad for all this interaction, interplay, chaos, etc. because it makes the Miss Freeones Contest what it is. It has a form of panache. It is also quite fun and entertaining. Even folks like yourself with gripes bring a certain air to the contest that is its own form of entertainment. I think we can call it a day on this deadhorse subject and get back to all the enticing pictures, goodies, and general lapdogging that all of us like to do. Plus, I think if you guys go any farther, my money is on the Sicilian. Why? Her boobs are bigger than yours. Just sayin'
