Michael Myers vs Jason Voorhees

Who's your favorite slasher?


I like both franchises, but I'm going to have to go with Jason. I've always thought he was scarier. I guess because I first saw the Friday the 13th movies when I was about 4 or 5, so it must have had a bigger impact on me. I don't remember seeing Halloween until my teens.

The story on Jason isn't scary. The story on Michael Myers is scary and has happened in real life. A person goes crazy and kills someone. Gets lock up in a mental ward and then breaks out to kill again. To me that is damn scary.

Michael Myers definatly is scarier for this one reason. He was an escaped psychopath that went on a rampage in his old town, this is scarier because it could really happen. Jason was a big zombie type thing, not so realistic.

Michael Myers, i guess. At least there´s been one really good Halloween movie. Most of the Friday the 13th movies suck really bad, not even the first one is anything special (in one of the sequels they couldn´t even come up with new ways to kill people so they simply copied the murder scenes shot by shot from one of Mario Bava´s movies).
