It's getting hard to keep the tube sites at bay, but it looks like multi award winning site, Met-Art, is fighting the good fight.

Interesting read on them making a move to keep piracy at bay.

The MetArt Network has filed 10 copyright infringement lawsuits targeting 17 adult tube sites in the past month.

The 10 suits, filed at federal courts in Phoenix and Seattle, each claim that the operators’ websites are streaming MetArt content without permission.
................ In many infringement cases involving adult tube sites, plaintiffs have a tough time ascertaining the identities because the John Does hide behind private Whois registrations.

MetArt had asked the courts for subpoenas against Enom, Whoisguard, CloudFlare and other service providers so it can identify those responsible.

I really hope that the change will progress to make the web consumers realize not everything can and should be free - along with progress in payments, especialy in usability, like Paypal etc involved in adult business.

The Tube sites are a great thing, if you don't think about the people who produce quality content in the first place.

Hope Met-Art are successfull!

Good for them.

It's long over due for a big network to go after tube sites. Winning these lawsuits could also help improve the incredibly bad image the industry has.

These fights seems to have mostly moved to "whose tube sites people should watch" over "fighting against tube sites" a times ago in porn. Thought Google is still doing business all happily with YouTube, without having to worry about too much competition...

Conspiracy...
We all see how the downloading music and other things has worked.

Just like the 'don't copy that floppy' and home taping is ******* the music industry.

Does anybody find it weird after all this time looking at stuff the industry has put out that I didn't know Met Art even made videos until this thread?

To quote Clint Eastwood as Inspector Harry Callahan in Dirty Harry (1971)

But you have to ask yourself one question?

Who owns all these free tube sites for the most part .... Manwin aka Mindgeek aka Brazzers.

I think Met-Art isn't going to win this.
