In registering for the message board, I thought I was also joining freeones. Was I incorrect in that assumption?

If I recall correctly (it's been a long time since I did either), you need to register for the board and myfreeones separately.

When you register for MyFreeones, you should use your message board username.

I am using the same name for both, but I haven't received the password or activation instructions yet, although I was informed that they had already been emailed to me. Will I have to wait till Monday to get this further information? I work weekends, third shift, and won't be online again until Sunday night or Monday morning.

It doesn't really matter what name you use for either account. You link your message board account from your MyFreeOnes account.

As for activation, did you use a hotmail address? Seems they've been having trouble getting emails to hotmail/MSN addresses.

Got a few minutes after all. I used an att yahoo address, not hotmail. I have not yet received a password for, nor confirmation of, my full user account.
