Not being from New York, I was not aware of what party Gov Spitzer was from. I couldn't find it mentioned in any of the articles I looked at on any of the major network's websites or the papers I looked at online. I had to find that in the pajama media (blog).
I went and looked at some other recent ugliness like that Foley guy in Florida and Senator Craig and I couldn't find any articles that did not provide a party affiliation
