I've heard of meditation doing some pretty amazing "mind over body" stuff but I don't think it can do it this successfully. Your mind needs food too, according to Cheerios boxes at least

i do know most people start having issues without food or water around 4 to 5 days and at the time of the article they'd already been studying him for 7 days so far...so that's interesting but i'd like a bit more before i become a true believer

There used to be another Yogi that caused havoc at Yellowstone National Park in the US. That one couldn't got more than an hour without food and he often stole Picnic Baskets from campers at the park.

The fact that he's still alive doesn't interest me. Whether or not he has ingested anything in those 70 years (as he claims) is what I'm sceptical about.
