Major decision this weekend....

So the company where I work offered me a job to get out of where I'm working now, which I don't like very much, and it's with an international project with lots of primo free travel to Europe and other places. I tentatively accepted with the new boss on Friday. Same pay, lateral move.

Than, another job I had applied for 6 weeks ago calls last night says the job is mine. What great timing!! lol It's to run my own section, commute will be worse and not much travel (all domestic), but it's more money and I'll have 12 people working for me... And to make matters even worse, when I explained to the guy that I waited as long as I could and accepted something in my company just yesterday, he says he will "do whatever he can do" to get me on board, which I assume means more money.

So I'm genuinely torn here... do I go back on my word to my current employer, take the extra money and better position with the headaches that come with being a "boss" again, or do I sit tight, accept the lesser salary, but have some continuity and international travel?

I guess it's a good problem to have so I'm not complaining, but I have to decide something my Sunday evening so I can let both parties know Monday morning... was up all night thinking about it. The timing jsut sucks, as I kind of already gave a "verbal" to the guy in my company, and either way I go I'm going to **** someone off I think.
