Whenever I try to log in from the home/main page it'll act like it will log me in but it doesn't actually log me in at all. However if I log in on the forums it shows I'm logged in on the forums just fine but not on the home/main page.

This is a bug, we are aware of it but unfortunately have not found a solution yet.
Sometimes it help to logout of the board, then clear cookies and browser history and log back in from the home page.

I've done that very recently actually, and it still won't log in correctly on the home/main page.

This issue happens to myself too but it is random, sometimes I get logged out again and other times it work just fine.
But like I said, we are aware of it and it is on our ToDo list which is unfortunately huge so it may take some time before this is fixed.
