Anyone else enjoy it besides me? Long before national / cable television, baseball was on once a week on Saturday's "Game of the Week". It was a special treat if it happened to be the Cardinals.
I grew up seeing my ***, grandpas' uncles, damn near everyone listening to Cardinals baseball on the transistor radios of the day. Whether they were sitting on the porch in the evenings trying to stay cool, or in the back yards during BBQ's.
To this day I still enjoy hearing a ballgame on the radio. In fact, I'm outside right now listening to the Rockies pre-game show. The game starts in twenty minutes.
