So are we to believe that only the vocalist... or the guitarist.. maybe the drummer are to be excluded from making *actual music*? They're all musicians and while it might be a discredit to the person.. or the entire band.. to do it your way or our way, one person or one-for-all... they're all musicians, and if they're in a band they're just like-minded enough to be grouped together by musical appreciation.

I don't know where you got the idea for the first sentence. The topic said 5 or 10 musicians, not bands. Generally, 2 to 5 musicians make up a band. A band isn't called a musician, is it? No, separate people in the band are considered musicians.

It does not matter. Who knows why the OP used the word "musicians", I suspect because he (from his list) only or mainly listens to rap and hip-hop music.

Being that our favourite bands are part of the original question, this discussion isnt necessary.
