Leaving comments while giving rep?

Today I gave somebody rep for the first time in a long while, and I noticed it didn't let me give any comments for it, which would have been helpful as it didn't really have to do with that specific post I was reppting. Has it changed from before or is it because I somehow still got some scripts turned off that won't allow that to come up when everything else on this site does work?

Another update: Maybe I didn't do something right, but recent rep I gave isn't showing up in my settings either. Not that it's a big deal because rep not something utra important to me, but it's kind of weird. I'll test it out again. :dunno:

Well as far as I can tell it seems to be working now.
