To rake, mulch or ignore? I have two very large, very old Oak trees in my yard. Love them in the Spring, and Summer, but every Fall I ***** of chopping them down. Unfortunately with the house and the fence they never blow over on the neighbors. Usually I rake all the leaves up this year going to try mulching with the mower, and leaving them on the yard. I've heard this may not work with Oak trees but I'm trying anyway.
The acorns are another matter, I have already swept up a five gallon bucket full of them off the driveway.
What does everyone else do? Is there a lazier option I'm missing?
