These are two of my favorite bands. L7, I have loved since Bricks are Heavy came out in '92, Donita Sparks and Suzi Gardener kick major ass. Hole had one truely great album; Live Through This in '94 right after Kurt Cobain offed himself. Never had a thing for Courtney Love butt I fell in live with their bass player Melissa Auf Der Maur. Out of the two who do you like more and why?

How can you even compare those two? Hole was nothing. A crap band that no one cared about until Kobain died and Whoretney suddenly became a star.
L7 was one of the most kick-ass bands of the decade. Donita Sparks remains one of my favorite rock-and-roll personalities.

In completely unrelated news Hole made a very Nirvana like record shortly after Kurt died. And there all similarities end as Hole went on to produce increasingly great music...............................

L7 was an all-girl punk rock band that formed in the mid 1980's in L.A. Their lead singer; Donita Sparks is one of the most hardcore individuals you could ever meet. They got widespread attention in the early 1990's when they were lumped into the "Grunge" scene. There most famous songs are "Pretend We're Dead", "Shitlist" (this song is used at the beginning of "Natural Born Killers"), "Andre", "Gas Chamber", and "The Masses are Asses" among so many others. :bowdown:
