So, a fact about me: I am a wilderness backpacker. And for the last several years I have been using my ******'s old blade. It is a 4 1/2 inch, stainless steel, fixed blade *****. Recently, the handle broke and I figured it was time to get a new, high-tech blade. Now, I realize that if i really needed the ***** for survival, I would want a fixed blade *****, but since I am a backpacker, I am looking for a switchblade, which is easier and safer to carry on trips. I would like to hear your recommendations for knives, pros and cons, and if possible, prices.
