Well, I think that Karlie is on the cusp of something very good here, but I feel that she is approaching it incorrectly. If she is greatly apprehensive and uncomfortable about working with men, then she shouldn't. With all due respect to this board and the posters here, Karlie's first scene with a man should have been on a blockbuster DVD film release, not an erratic web cam site with 150 other girl options that only a few people (or so) watched.
If I may be even more frank, I think that having your own personal website is the wrong way to go, unless you are a huge superstar like Jenna Jameson once was. I mean, it's okay to have one, but it shouldn't be the main center of your career. Most people, including myself, want to get in, get off, and get out, and Pay-Per-Minute porn sites that house thousands of movies are the easiest option. Again, I could go to one of those sites and see ten times the amount of Karlie in action than I can on her personal website, due to the sheer fact that she has appeared in dozens (or maybe even hundreds) of films. Plus, it's pretty cheap compared to a personal site, which usually runs at $29.99 or more.
I'll use another girl as an example--Lexi Lapetina. Google her if you want. She's amazingly hot, just like Karlie. She has her own site, and a Clips 4 Sale store as well that is one of the top stores on the entire site. She used to routinely update with new clips several times a week, and updated her site numerous times a month. I bought many clips, and she was pretty popular for someone who had never made an actual porn film. But, after a while, it was apparent (to me at least) that she needed to take the next step and move away from her little site and start making movies or something bigger than filming herself at least. She spoke of wanting to be a huge star, but she was having cam sessions on her site with the same seven guys every week (I was one of them). Eventually, for whatever reason, her output became increasingly reduced. She only updates her clip store a few times a month now, and rarely updates her site, save for those webcam shows with the same guys (I'm no longer a member). Those types of shows attract a certain number of rabid fans, but it isn't going to make you bigger, in my opinion. I hope she does not take my comments in a negative way, because I am a huge fan :bowdown: and only want to see her get better and bigger in the industry. Like I said in my last post, if the NakedChat site is simply a stepping stone to bigger things, then that is fine. But she can make so much more out of this monumental step in her career, that's all.

Ultimately, I think the nakedchatlive site should be a transition site before Karlie rebuilds her own site. Somewhere down the road I think she should have the camchat as part of her site. That will have to be the main draw for the site. IMO, she should do exclusive chats with other people that fans may have an interest in (ie. Georgia Jones, Charlie Laine, etc) and not do them for other sites. Since people can find downloadable content all over the net, camchats seem to have drawn a lot of interest b/c they are more interactive and I think people are intrigued with voyeurism to a certain extent.
I like the idea of her doing 1 video for the major companies and then solely doing stuff for her site. It will draw some interest.

Karlie herself has said that the webcam situation is not ideal. She's having trouble with the people who maintain her site and she's throwing us a bone (snicker). However, I doubt she'd disagree with anyone who says they would rather view content on her site than go to nakedchat where you pay more for less convenience.
