It is an attention-getting ad. THAT'S THE POINT. Too bad the Catholic Establishment fell for it hook, line, sinker.

I have no clue what the cross has to do with defending animals, like, hopefully, the seal, in conjunction with a nude woman, in this picture. I would love to know what her promoters were thinking. It is one thing making a statement, for the umpteenth time, against cruelty to animals, but quite another dragging the church and the cross into it in such a way.

I would just like to know what she had going on in her mind. A naked woman, a saint, an angel, and the cross.

Then there's the senseless, brutal beating of seals to make fur, or the cruel murder of the narwhal, or the unimaginable brutality to dogs in Japan and China. Now those are issues worth really fighting for.
