As many of you know, my boyfriend is a chef in a university dining hall. Part of his job is cooking these "made to order" items during breakfast and lunch, like omelets, panini sandwiches, pasta dishes, etc. That's all fine, but I **** that he has to serve these bubbly sorority chicks that are the complete opposite of me. I work with special needs ****, so it's not like there's any chance I'm going to be flirting with or carrying on a relationship with anyone at work.
He comes home and tells me how all these chicks are calling him by name, and telling him he makes the best food, blah blah blah. And he's really vain about food - telling him he cooks good is the equivalent of telling him he has the biggest cock you've ever seen.
In addition to that, he works around several student workers and student managers. That's actually how we met - he was a full-time worker and I was a student worker. So part of the jealousy is justified I think.
There's nothing I can really do about it - it just sucks really hard because that's just the environment he works in.
Do you have any situations in your relationship that breed jealousy? Has your partner ever been jealous of something you can't really control?
