Is The Term "Chink In The Armor" Racist?

I imagine many White people must be distressed by this term and get really offended for Chinese people. They'd raise Hell in the streets but it's a little nippy tonight so they'll stay in where it's warm and safe pecking away at the Twitter Machine.
