Is it consistant across the US?

In my neck of the woods, Pacific Northwest, every vehicle I see with Tea Party crap on it is a 1982 Buick on its last leg or a pickup with a 20 inch lift and gigantic tires. Are they all angry redneck goobs and white trash or is that just up here. I await the boards input.
