With Apple not participating and this being Microsoft's last year, the show may have lost some of its luster. But it's always fun to hear about the new & interesting gadgets that may (or may not) go into production soon. Samsung has an interesting 55 inch OLED TV that will apparently respond to voice commands (probably built from Apple blueprints 
). Also, auto makers are getting more involved with CES. Both Ford and Mercedes have some interesting offerings this year.
So, is anyone here following the show. When DirecTV carried G4/Tech TV, I followed it religiously. But now that I no longer get G4, I have to rely on Bloomberg... which is OK, but not the same as constant coverage.
