I'm making a point that anti-abortionists consider a freshly fertilized human egg to be a life, even though something that is usually not considered to be alive (in this case a plant) demonstrates many more signs of life than a fertilized human egg.

So, who are we to say that human life begins at the exact moment of conception?

No matter how anybody argues it, nobody knows when a human life truly begins. So, is abortion murder? :dunno: It all depends on our opinion and how we look at it. Because, the facts point to both answers; yes and no. But, it's our opinion that we hold to be the truth when we talk about this subject. Just another reason as to why abortion is the most heated debate in the entire world.

marlo i'm not arguing about a womans right, i accept it.
but what you just said regarding "life" i gotta disagree with.
so the day before the baby is born its not a life?

also are you saying that if you stick a metal object into a say 4 to 9 month old babys skull and rip out its brain it feels nothing?

as far as the word murder, in a legal sense it is not, however a recent case where a child shot and killed a pregnant woman he was charged with 2 counts of murder.
sounds like having cake and eating it too on that one.

so legally its not murder, but by the true definition of murder it is, killing with intent, and people who have or are pro abortion should accept this.

so accept it, if you have an abortion you are killing a life, its part of the consequences the mother must live with.

Ok fair enough I should have been a little more compassionate and reasonable, although I believe a woman should have a choice too abort her pregnancy, she should do it before there is a fully formed fetus/unborn baby, it would be more humame for the woman too abort in the 1st or 2nd trimester, any later and it would be inhumane IMO. :2 cents:

Some of us can learn from Marlo and me.
I just did.
We disagreed a little , then we talked, then we found common ground.
if a womans gonna do it, do it before its fully formed, 1st trimester (which is what I prefer), 2nd at the latest.
thats all.
