Investing in Precious Metals?

Hiliary 2020
Hi everybody!
So I sold some gold a few weeks ago.
Got a good price for it.
And I also have been dabbling in coin collecting a bit.
Like many hobbies there is a lot to know before you just go buying stuff, unless youre a dumb ass.
But my point, or question is for example Gold today is $1,847 per ounce.
Silver is $41.44. per ounce.
Copper is $4.00 a pound
Plus other metals have gone up too.......a lot.

Do you think at this point they will ever go down in value?

Another example is US coins pre-1964, half dollars, quarters, dimes are made of 90% silver.
Kennedy Halves from 1964 (the first year of issue and the only containing 90% silver) are selling on Ebay for $15.00 each, 30 times their monetary value.

Washington Quarters are selling for $7.50 each

Imagine if you spent your life just buying silver coins for face value?
Nice profit you would have made.

So My questions are: Do you think we missed the boat of precious metal investment or is there still potential to increase in value?
And also, how do you invest in these metals?
Do you need to actually buy, own and store the physical metal or do you invest in it like any other stock?
If you do need to physically own it then where do you get it?

Any of you know about this stuff?
:hatsoff:
