Yes ladies and gentlemen... Mr. Perko refused to return a fallen female marines personal effects to her ******. The belongings included: A funeral flag, her birth certificate and a report about the crash that took her life. Perko also has letters from President Bush, Chicago Mayor Richard Daley, an Indiana General Assembly proclamation and a Gary City Council resolution. Not to mention her dog tags and her uniform.
Yesterday, after thousands of death threats, he 'decided' to return her belongings free of charge. A far cry from the $1000 to $1500 he originally tried to charge the ******.
I have no words for people like Mark Perko. He deserves any and everything coming to him and more. Robbing this ****** of their deceased ********* personal effects, after she died serving our country, is beyond disgusting and atrocious.
