Insects will be important part of UK diet by 2020, says scientist

The one and only.
I already find UK folks completely detestable.

Eating bugs wouldn't really lower my opinion of them anymore than what it already is.

lol. Why do you find UK people detestable? Have you ever been. I'm supposed to deeply dislike the English myself but to be honest a load of shit picking up conceptions from others. I like to make my own mind up. When I was over in London I can't say they where ultra friendly or anything but they weren't rude either. Now alot of folks don't like that shit, get the impression the English think too highly of themselves and all that jazz. Personally I found it refreshing that no one bothered you.

Considering the number of bug parts that make it into most food now I don't see any difference. :1orglaugh

You make an excellent point... also, there's rat and mouse poo in every breakfast cereal on the market, the mills do the best they can to keep it to a minimum, but indeed, the rodent excrement is present.

I tried it. No joke, I really did, some years ago, and honestly, it looks awefull and creepy, but actually insects like grasshoppers taste like walnuts.

Well it's not really surprising as all foods contain insects anyway. For example for every 100 grams of peanut butter there is at least 1 insect part, feces, or rodent hair. Even skittles have beetles in them.

Just imagine folks every time you enjoy a nice tasty meal, your also enjoying some nice insect parts aswell. Bon appetit.

There are very few 'English' people in London, ask John Cleese

What happened to the Food chain? We're supposed to leave insects to the birds and shit.

The British really need to learn about soy-based, meat-flavored, protein products. Americans love them :pukey:

I'm watching some specialist videos
I don't see the problem.
We eat a lot of stuff from the sea that would be seen as particularly horrible if it was on land - prawns/shrimp for example, winkles, lobster, crab, oysters, muscles, etc, etc.
Now tell me what is so bad about insects such as grasshoppers or locusts, which are eaten quite regularly in the far east.
It is all a matter of what you are used to.

:wtf: :noway:

Sorry for being frank, do you swallow sperm Brianna?
If so, insects and sperm, both are full of proteins. And honestly, when you know insects taste like walnuts, I even think they taste better then sperm too.
So, there my question, why don't you make a fuzz of swallowing sperm, but only from eating insects? Because I don't get it. :dunno:
