Hey
I am trying to gain some advice for a friend of mine. He has recently inherited his late Mum's house which is shared among his other 2 ******** and due to the fact that he doesn't work and claim benefits he is claiming to me that his benefits will be severely cut by having the house. Is there any way around being able to keep the house but not having benefits cut at all. A will was not left by his Mum. Only way i can think of is if he gave some or all of his share away to either his ******** or someone else just so his benefits will not get cut hugely. He says he doesn't want to give up his share despite it going to cause him financial difficulty because i think he wants money from it in the future. What makes things more complicated is he is not in good terms with his ********.
Any advice on UK soil about this?
