Just saw a preview of this movie on the Spike TV Man Awards staring Brad Pitt.......looked killer to me. Anyone else looking foward to it? :dunno:
BTW....this award show is the best I've seen in years; lots of porn chicks, Hayden Panetierre, Halle Berry, Metallica, Clint Eastwood, Malin Ackerman, Jason Statham, Mel Gibson and Brad Pitt all acting a fool and not pretentious like most award shows.....esp. Pitt!

I hope it's good. But nonetheless it is a remake... I was a little less than wowed by grindhouse. I think Tarantino has reached his peek with Pulp Fiction and gone down hill since then.

I feel the same way about Guy Ritchie and a lot of other directors. I think the thing is that these guys that came up around the time and broke through with real creative cinema and not just commercial fluff, they put everything that they had into making it because they had to fight to make it, and then once they got there, they didn't need to try as hard anymore.

To me Chris Nolan is the only one in H ollywood today that has been able to consistently make movies that are as good as his first one (so far. keep your fingers crossed.).
