5-year-old boy drives away in ***'s van in search of candy
Police are investigating how a 5-year-old boy managed to drive his ******'s minivan into a pole early this morning while on his way to buy candy.
The boy crashed the van into a pole at around 1 a.m. near Copia and Altura streets in Central El Paso. When police arrived at the scene, the boy apparently tried to run away but officers were able to catch him.
He told officers he was driving to a nearby store to buy candy.
