I live in the south and I hear how Obama is a socialist all the time. It's probably the single most annoying thing ever.

i'm not sure about the impartiality of the sources though eg FOX & pro "gun rights" websites

i'm looking for actual info on what concrete things the prez has actually done to limit gun ownership, challenge 2nd amendment, make it harder to get them etc

from what i can see he hasn't tried much, even after, for instance, the 2011 Tucson shootings, which in the past might have prompted some soul searching & possible new gun control legislation ...
... but i think obama either doesn't have the balls to try to do anything, or doesn't wish to :dunno:

Well, his voting record as a Senator, clearly shows he is anti gun, and anti self defense....voting against a "castle law" in his home state of Illinois.

Yes, to an extent...but that doesn't make what I've posted untrue. It also doesn't he hasn't tried to restrict their access, availability, or the right to own, or carry. Not all of the laws that would effect this, are specifically "gun legislation". Do the research, it isn't hard to find. I also didn't include any NRA links precisely because of the reason you stated. As a lifetime member of the NRA, I am aware of how they exist, and raise money, but they have done far less for gun sales, then Obama himself. Look at the people around him, especially Clinton, and Holder. If you can't see it, I can't help you.
