Which three movies would you as a teacher, show them on a Monday, talk about it for the rest of the week, and continue each Monday until all three have been watched and discussed in depth?
Mine would be:
1. Doctor Zhivago:
Life of a Russian doctor/poet who, although married, falls for a political activist's wife and experiences hardships during the Bolshevik Revolution.
2. The Grapes of Wrath
A poor Midwest ****** is ****** off of their land. They travel to California, suffering the misfortunes of the homeless in the Great Depression.
3. Saving Private Ryan
Following the Normandy Landings, a group of U.S. soldiers go behind enemy lines to retrieve a paratrooper whose brothers have been ****** in action.
