If you join a pay site, is your computer safer?

I love porn, but I'm concerned that I'm slowing my browser down (I need it for other things too), and possibly jeopardizing my computer. I've already crashed my hard drive once. I would be willing to cough up some cash to join something like bang bros., which puts out a lot of the small clips that I currently jerk to. Does anyone have any experience as far as security as a subscriber to a pay site? Is it one of the perks of joining that you are more protected once you sign in? Or am I just naive?

Thanks for any input.

It is definitely more safe to join a paysite. I have experience there and it is one of the safe sites.

just naive if your pc isn't firewalled properly

and even with a good firewall you're not 100% safe. if you want to be safe, cancel internet.

I'll admit to being pretty ignorant about cleaning my machine. I have anti-virus software, etc., but I don't really know how to "use" it. I've just assumed in the past that it works on its own. I know--I probably don't deserve to have a computer.

I was thinking about joining bang bros anyway because I'm practically obsessed with lots of the women I've seen on there and would love to see more extensive versions of their scenes. I was also wondering, if I join for only a month or two and download movies, would they still be mine after I leave?

Again I admit--I'm practically retarded.

if u download the movies/pix onto your computer they are yours...though i think u may need to read the terms & conditions first as to what they deem improper use of that material.

as for the anti virus u really need to clean your browser & scan your pc for viruses, etc. what have u got? norton360?

When you join any adult website, the DL's [downloads] are yours to keep for your own personal and private use. Pretty nifty. :D

For better PC performance, you should clean your cache history everyday under the tools menu on your browser. It should say delete browsing history. And if you go to the start menu on your PC, run a disk clean up as well. You can set up your anti-virus to run on it's own everyday if you wish, I usually run it once a week manually.

the short answer is yes. your big companies like vivid online, jules jordens site, etc, wont fuck you with spyware or virii.

The biggest single step to safeguard your computer is not to use Internet Explorer. There are other more capable and very much more secure free browsers such as Opera and Firefox available. If you want to clean out your computer there is an excellent free program called CCleaner.

I have a Mac actually. I just downloaded the latest version of ProtectMac, their anti-virus software. I ran it and it said there were no threats. I also surf with Firefox, and I got a new version of that not too long ago. So maybe I'm just being paranoid.

I'm still thinking about trying Bang Bros though, since they seem to make so much shit that I really like.

Thanks for your replies.

You should wipe out the cookies and cache after visiting a paid site before surfing around.

Safer? Those files could still contain malware and backdoors if you're not careful.

If you can, run a liveCD of linux (ubuntu is my personal favorite) and download all of those files onto an external hard drive or your own hard drive.
