I love other people... really I do....

You know, I had a really good weekend. Really good. It was my 5th wedding anniversary to the lovely Mrs. H, and we were without our two **** for the weekend. I got surprised with a rather steamy romp in the garage, of all places, atop our little red MGB. We went to a baseball game Saturday night, and a Symphony Orchestra concert on Sunday. Idyllic....

But amidst all this wonderful stuff, I made a few observations.

I rarely mingle with the public, and a couple things this past weekend reminded me of why. First of all, why does everyone have to constantly drive (in the US, anyway) like they're trying to outdo you. I got so many dirty looks from dudes driving around, I felt like I was that senior citizen, plugging the fast lane at 30 mph, even though I actually drive just about the same as everyone else. It's like there's a constant tough-man competition on.

I've heard a view from overseas that Americans all seem to be fat. Hmmm... strangely, after sitting in those seats at the baseball game, I agree. I watched more people just eat because their ADD needed something to do in addition to watching the sporting contest they all paid to see. Just mad eating, constantly, and **** getting stuffed full as well. I can only imagine the great revenue for the ball park, what with a hot dog being $4, and beers being $5 apiece.

But the game also reminded me that I survived my youth with a healthy respect for others around me. Not so much, with the people who seem to be raising ******** today. Constantly having to move, invade my space, talk, scream, fight, cry, and stuff their faces, I was surrounded by ******** who were no more made to mind than a group of fish babies, mindlessly fluttering about the water. I watched a couple of toddlers standing at a railing, punching each other in the heads while *** and auntie sat there text messaging whoever... It became like a second game to me, watching to see if one of these **** would take a header over that railing....

But at the Symphony Orchestra concert, the fun continued. The ADD generation only made it through about fifteen minutes or so of Shostakovich before the wild, frenzied text message festival began. And the talking. Holy balls, no respect for the people in the audience, or the amazing musicians playing. And then, after the intermission, the eating started. I just have to wonder why it is no one can get through a F*%-ing event without having to eat something. Symphony music isn't exactly a nachos and **** kind of event.

I know- I'm ranting. But it doesn't seem too much to ask people to have some respect for others around them in public. At least the smokers have a tendency to go to somewhere else. Maybe there could be a disobedient/hyperactive *** section in public places.

End rant... flame away, or heap love on me. I'll love you all just the same.
