First off -- everyone else -- let him have his vent. He'll feel sorry he did it later, but let him have it.

Secondly, there are so many considerations here, I can't even begin. Let's just say there are many aspects to why you are not intimate with women regularly, and I'm not pushing all that blame on you either, so don't take it that way.

Third, the you have to step back and realize it's not just women. It's men. It's society. And most of all, it's the worst manifestation of society, our media. I personally can't stand how many people gossip and talk about things our media pushes around, and they don't realize they're just adding to the problem.

And, fourth, that problem is the culmination of poor expectations, even worse wants, and total disregards of needs.

Expectations are not about high or low, but they are more about dismissals. I personally can't stand how many men and women dismiss potential lovers for some little reason. They make themselves feel good about pointing out a flaw in someone else, one they don't have. Very sad, very sad for us all. But one thing that helps is dealing with your own flaws and shortcomings, which means things bounce off of you, and other people notice that too. Many of my lovers expected me to have experience with intercourse. I showed them another path.

Wants are far too often built upon what others say, and not what we want ourselves. The second I found intimate bliss is the day I started ignoring what my football teammates thought of my current girlfriend, let alone even my random interest that day. I carried that on into college and beyond, including my mother, who even enlisted my father (man, I'll never forget that day -- and I'm sure if I wasn't sure of myself I would have left my wife -- who looks much like Devyn Devine), just chastizing me over my wife-to-be just after I first met her, as well as when I first got engaged to her.

Needs are simple, so simple that we look past them. We all need to be intimate, on a regular basis. God Herself made us want to become one with our missing half. "Having" a lover isn't the object really, it's "finding peace" with some sort of intimacy. If you find conversation intimate, stick with it, it may lead to more. Don't find your needs "getting ahead of themselves." If you have a need, your interest probably has the same need, and your interest will take you there, or leave him/herself open at some points so you can reach it.

No, we don't all expect to go home and have to jack-off on our own. But have you ever considered just keeping your expectations at the level that you don't care whether you are left to yourself? Have you ever questioned why you should feel bad or lonely after you jack-off, and not just enjoy the fact that you can, "get off," even if by yourself? Have you ever just went to a bar, with no expectations, with no pre-determined wants, with no real "need" other than to enjoy yourself with others, in whatever way?

In closing, I will offer one piece of advise that I've always taken to heart, repeatedly. Never, ever treat a single woman (let alone collectively) and anything but a lady, and that includes seeing all women as ladies. Yes, some are -- well, ya know -- but that means you just avoid them and don't let them take advantage of you (seriously, move on, never look back at her). You should ever find fault in women in general, and especially not women who actually care. Because not only are there a too many women on this planet to respect, but they will find new respect for you in how you treat even the worst of other women like ladies.
