I know it's armchair quarterbacking, 20/20 hindsight, or whatever you want to call it, but it felt like there were so many better answers you could have given as Trump, even while staying in character. Things like:
Taxes: "Not paying them makes me smart"
Miss Universe: "Where did you find that?"
Not paying workers: "They did a bad job"
Birther issue, etc, etc
