Once a week. Long nails accumulate dirt, and that is fucking gross. I wouldn't be caught dead with dirty finger nails. (Unless of coarse I had a job which required getting dirty, which I don't, so it is unacceptable)

Every couple of weeks. I hate when they get long. I always cut myself if they get to long. I really should stop telling people my own worst enemy is myself. I beat myself up without even trying.

I only cut my nails when they need doing, but I always keep the index and thumb on my left hand at about 1/4". That way I never have trouble when I walk streets looking for coins off the floor! 2p coins on marble's a fucking nighmare! This technique ensure's it's swoop-cha-ching! swoop-ching, swoop-cha-ching-ching! All the way to the off-license, I'm not a fucking crack-head!

I never cut them; I file them. My left hand nails and my right pinky are kept as short as possible, and the others are about 1/8" long and at a slight angle to get a good tone from my strings. Right now, my left middle finger nail is coming off at the base (thanks to some dickweed who dropped a piece of scaffolding on my finger in September) and it's only hanging by a sliver still attached to the side. I have to keep a band aid on it to keep it from snagging on everything.

I despise cutting toe nails (I fucking hate feet), so I usually slack on those and cut them once a month or less.
