how long does it usually take for a moderator to approve a thread?

This has probably been asked a millions times but, I made a thread in the Identify / Name the Babe and wanted to know how long it takes to approve thread in that section.

It depends, this is not their full time job. Depending on how many posts are waiting for approval it sometimes can take a while but they're are doing the best they can.

During the weekends the mods are less active but eventually they will get to your post.

Once you´ve reached 5 posts it doesnt have to be approved any longer.

Because you have not gotten 5 posts yet so anything you are posting is being moderated.
