How do you update graphic card drivers?

Hi

Ive had Doom 3 for a while now and was happily playing on it untill I had to reinstall xp home on my pc because of some shitty virus.

Since then I brought HL2 but have never got round to replaying Doom. Having just compleated HL 2 today I decided to play doom again as I never compleated it before. (lost my save game now though which sucks...)

But its not working, its saying I need to update my graphics card drivers or something, so how do I do this?

Im running a 2.4ghz pentiun 4 processer with 512mb of Ram and a Radeon 9600 graphics card.

downlaod the file that u need.. depend what windows u have and install

I have a Radeon graphic card too, the ATI Site has a multi-installer for it's cards these days.
It is able to check which particular card you have and update it as necessary, I guess it's easier for ATI to do it that way.

BTW, it will be an automatic installer, so you shouldn't worry about needing to go into any depths of your system to install.

Right, I've installed that catalyst thing and restarted - all seems fine. Gonna try installing Doom now. Finger crossed!

Sorted now - Doom 3 works fine and HL 2 + CS runs a lot smoother too!
