I might take my mother to McDonalds and let her splurge on the dollar menu. Heck, for as many times as she took me up there as a kid, I feel I can do the same to show her I appreciated it. Maybe even let her pay, so she feels all motherly for buying her son a meal, again, just like the old days. A mother's duty. Right? :tongue:

Go see her anyway, show her that even though your relationship has hit...or maybe even gone under rock bottom you still respect her, as the woman who brought you to this world. She took care of you for 16 years, something not every mother does (some abort their babies, some give them away, some kill them) show her that you can appreciate at least that gesture.
