You see, this is the exact premise that Delta House and Omega House were dealing with. By that I mean, take a good look at the "fraternities".

In Delta House, I would have gladly been a member. Those are the kind of guys I hung out with prior to going into the navy, and while in the navy, and afterwards (albeit grown up at that point)

But be that as it may.... having been called all sorts of derogatory names in here by Greg Marmalard (xfire), Doug Neidermeyer (Mayhem), Dean Wormer (Dirk) and the rest of of you losers (you all know who you are), simply because my beliefs and lifestyle differs from yours, actually makes me proud to not be in the same "fraternity" with you losers. I mean.... take a look for yourselves... On Left side, is Omega. On the Right side, is Delta.

Mayhem could actually be either Marmalard or Neidermeyer, because one is a sneeky little shit, and the other is a military bad-ass wannabe.

1975: Nine month deployment : Pearl Harbor, Hawaii....Guam, White Beach, Okinawa... Kwajalein, Atoll... Subic Bay, Philippines... Seoul, Korea... Yokasuka, Japan... Sasebo, Japan... Okinawa, and then we steamed home to San Diego for some down time.

1976: Cruised up to Juneau, Alaska in July for the 200th birthday of The United States. Afterwards, we were underway in the Pacific for three three months of RefTra (refresher training) with the Marines.

1977: Another nine month deployment: Pearl Harbor... White Beach, Okinawa.... Subic Bay, Philippines... Yokasuka, Japan... Thailand... Hong Kong.... crossed the International Dateline.... crossed the Equator, then on to Jakarta, Indonesia... then back to Japan again, then Subic Bay, then back to Okinawa, and then back to San Diego where I was discharged upon arrival. My enlistment was over.

I joined on December 9th, 1974, and got out as a Petty Officer Third Class, on November 17th, 1977. I served proudly and wouldn't trade that time for anything.
