There has been an f'n ton of "I'm new here" threads in the members section. I'm just curious how everyone started here. Did you hang out reading threads for a while? Did you jump right in and post in an existing thread or did you start your own thread?

Personally I hung out for a while and then started a thread asking why nothing worked on my phone. Yep pretty dorkie.

I knew of this website since 2005. It took until 2007 for me to join. From there I posted in babe section, left for a year and a half or so, came back and here I am a full contributor to this wonderful website.

If I recall correctly, my first post had something to do with the cost of a roll of t/p in Rhodesia . . errr . . . better make that Zimbabwe. Umm, yea, a wheel barrow full of Zimbabwean $50s is what it will take in order to purchase a single roll of Charmin these days in a land that was once the breadbasket of Afrika. Just git whitey the hell off of the land so that Mugabe & thugs can disk under the vast thriving green fields. . . a democracy they have the nerve to call call themselves.

Actually, come to think of it, they're correct, it is a democratik form of government in the land of Z (mob rule).

i used FO for a long time just to find more links on girls. Then I decided to join and give back to the community. Originally I posted in the ID forum (respond to threads) and the Funny pictures forum (starting threads and responding to other threads). Now i just kind of migrate from one section to the next. I think my first post was in the Members only section introducing myself.

I lurked in the pictures' section for a few years...before ever finding out there was a forum. I lurked in the forums for a while longer, mainly in the sexually-related sections. Then I lurked in the regular talk sections and the funny picture threads.
Once I finally decided to join, I decided I had the perfect name: I was a natural lurker. And there was a name that was not only associated with sex (in a Hollywood sense), but a name which bought a chuckle to the throat. It was then I settled on the name "lurkingdirk". Fuck you, dirk!
Anyway, even after joining, I lurked for a bit longer before posting - I think. I've always figured it is best to get a feel for the place before jumping in. Trust me, there are quite a few sites I have run away from after taking a long look.
