This is a stupid example and a dead end, stillborn argument. Anyone who says that removing millions of people's access to firearms will stop ******* by insaniacs is severely retarded, as is anyone who contends that you don't need a 30 or 50 round mag to **** massive amounts of people easily.
Standing a few yards away and ripping people apart in a short space of time is either done with high capacity and high velocity firearms or explosives. Not with a bolo or a blade of any kind. Hammers either.
As a victims ****** pointed out, ***** drivers in just 1 day ****** more people then were ****** in Sandyhook, yet it still isn't hard to get enough ******* to lose all ability to drive. So where are the people calling for life in prison for ***** drivers, or removal of all vehicles from anyone caught DUI?
