I have a video clip i downloaded on my mac and am having issues playing it. It saved as a .mov file, but quicktime says the movie is not in a format that QuickTime Player understands. I also have a VLC player installed and tired opening it with that. VLC is a no go too. It said it cannot read the file because its a .mlp file.
I checked my version of VLC and it was outdated so I updated to VLC 1.1.2 which apparently can read .mlp files. When I try to open it, VLC opens but will not play the file.
Anybody know whats going on and what I have to do? I'm going to try to post on a couple of message boards dedicated to video files, but I figured the good people of Freeones might know too
