Oops! I was in such a hurry to find her,I forgot to include a screenshot of her.

If you open the picture with "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" using a right-click, you can save the file as a JPEG. That will compress it to a smaller size.

Thanks for the tip Dumpyman, but it does´nt work. I don´t know how to save it as a jpg when i´ve opened it up with the Windows picture and fax viewer?
I really hope I can do this, so any more help would be appreciated, Rep coming your way.

When you open the file with the viewer there's a row of icons on the bottom. One of them looks like a floppy diskette. It's their "copy to" icon.

Select that icon. It will open up a save window, where you can change the file type from BMP to JPEG.

Then when you save you'll have two copies of the file, one original format and one with a .jpg format. The .jpg will be a compressed version of the original.
