Hard to believe it's been 20 years since I got into the porn biz!
Although I've kept up (sorta) in my foodie thread found here I haven't posted on the main board in a few years. I thought I'd check in, say hey to old friends, new members who are too young to know who I am and maybe a heartfelt "Fuck You" to the haters You know I say that whenever I have a chance.
I know that there are a lot of contrasting views of porn stars by you guys. Some love them, some loathe them (yet here you are) some see them as a tool to jerk your dicks and some understand and some don't. It's a complex situation, for certain. I got into porn 9 days after I turned 18 and had a 1 year old child. I am not ashamed of that decision nor do I ever regret it. Anyone who knows me knows it was never a lifestyle for me. It was a way to make more money than I'd make otherwise, especially being someone who didn't have an education or a resume. A lot of people think porn is life's garbage bin where the trash ends up, and in some cases that's true. But in many cases it is a lifeline most girls wouldn't have had otherwise. Many girls learn how to manage their money and some buy houses. Many travel and learn business. Others learn marketing and web design and video/photo editing. Some make a brand from their porn persona that they put to use in other endeavors down the road. Hell some even fuck the guy who ends up being president and get paaaaid!
But a lot of the girls see no other side to this business. They do porn for a while then start escorting. I'd say 95% of porn girls escort. I get it. Its not for me, but I get it. Rates have gone down so much in the last few years, 8am call times and a lot of companies can't even afford a makeup artist or a decent location. Doing webcam sucks ass,,,sorry guys, but ask just about any girl who does it for a living and if they're being honest they'll tell you it's true.
But its a cycle that makes girls feel stuck like there's no other side to all of it. There is. I found my other side on Youtube. I did something no other pornstar was doing and found an audience. A lot of porn girls made fun of me then miraculously many started to copy. Funny how that goes. I have grown my channel to over 10 million viewers and make more money now than I ever did doing porn. I get product endorsement deals and travel all over the world. I've been to Europe 4 times in the last year and am headed back there again next month. I miss certain things about being in the industry but I can't even imagine ever doing it again. It's not the same that it was even 5 years ago. Girls are overdosing or killing themselves,,,,young girls at the top of their game, not the tired old ones who's better days have come and gone. All the girls are turning tricks on the side bringing who-knows-what to the set to share with everyone else between testing cycles. Its gotten to be an ugly industry that I'm happy to be away from.
The reality is that all of these girls are people, not some fuck robot just dying for your dick pic and offer to fuck or meet for dinner or whatever. I get at least 100 emails like this a day on social media. I can't imagine how many the girls who are active in the industry are getting. Guys actually think girls want to see pics of their dick. They actually think they are going to accept their offer for a date, or even more ridiculous for a fuck. As sad as it is, I know there are several reading this who have done this or had these emails.
So my rambling post is wrapping up and I'll end with this bit of advice for both fan and star. First, girls you need to make a plan because you aren't going to do this forever. If you think some rich guy is gonna come take you away from it all that isn't likely to happen. You need to make your own money therefore navigating your own future and success. Build and then use your social media platform to promote products and make sponsorship money. Invest your money in more than weed and loser boyfriends. Get a Roth IRA account for your retirement because it's gonna happen. Take some money and get a financial adviser who can make it work for you. Buy a house and stop paying someone else's mortgage. Don't pile up debt on bullshit like credit cards and extravagant cars. I have 1 credit card. Its an AMEX I use for travel only and never carries a balance. Every other purchase I make is with my debit card with money I have in my checking. If I don't have the money to buy it then I can't afford it. Don't be stupid with your money. I was making $20k month when I got in the biz and pissed it all away at the mall then ran up $50k in credit card debt. I learned the ugly way.
Fans, you need a reality check. As I've said already, no one wants to see your dick so stop sending photos of it. No porn girl is going to date you if you send a DM or email asking to taking them out. (Well, unless you're paying by the hour then most will) Remember these are real people with lives, and many have more money than you do so looking down on them or judging is kinda fucked up.
So there ya have it. Take it or leave it, that's some real talk and good solid advice from someone who's been on all sides of this business and come out the other side.
