Next year, HBO will be bringing it's HBO2GO service to everyone with a broadband connection. Shows like Game of Thrones will be available after they air and you'll be able to watch HBO documentaries, HBO mini-series, and other stuff as well. If successful, Showtime and Cinemax - both owned by HBO's parent company Time Warner - will do the same. No word on Starz, but it would be likely that they would also get in on it.
