Hehehe. Happy fucking Easter. LOL.

I'm scared to ask if you have more pics of that.

I gave up my virginity. thankfully it was not to my priest.

Lent is a period of 40 days where catholics give something up since christ gave up his life for them. I think it is supposed to be the time between the time he died on the cross and when he resurrected.(my memory on this stuff is REALLY bad). I used to when i was smaller, but became very disillutioned with religion as a whole when I was about 14. I think I just formulated my own opinions, much of which came about through rough experiences, and stopped believing all the force-fed teachings of catholic schools.

sorry. in short, no, stopped being a "practicing catholic" long ago.

Look, there's a reason why people are protestants. They don't want any demands, they don't want any occult shit. They just want to make sure to not burn in eternal fire, and so they avoid one thing; the unforgivable sin.

I'm a protestant, and I don't have to do anything to meet God. In fact, I have to not do one thing less than everyone else. So, no offense to the others, I love Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, Catholics, Hindus, Shintoists and everyone else, but I fucking love being a protestant.

PROTESTANTISM RULES!

I'm stoned, but don't think I lie because of that. I never lie, and I really believe all this. But it all makes more sense when you're on weed. Kisses to all protestants out there and every other religion too! (Especially Muslims, I know us here and you don't get along very well all the time but I love most Muslims, you're wonderful guys)

And I have never given up something for lent and never will, but I love everyone who does and doesn't anyway. I hope Anabelle from Flashybabes gives up something for lent because I love her too. Very much.

:smokes blunt:

Oh yeah, It's all coming to me now man.

Hey plucap...you ever tried Catholicism...on weed?

I used to give up things for lent every year. I didn't do it for religious reasons as much as the fact I thought the whole process taught an important life lesion. Someday something might happen to you and you might be forced to go without. It's better to prepare for that so when that day comes it isn't that hard and you'll have the strength to pull though. Also this might seem weird but in the sense that some types of monks throughout the world think (not just Christian monks either) that sometimes when you deny yourself something, even if there isn't anything wrong with it itself, it can make you stronger on the inside. I guess I also did it for a reason similar to that also.

However I don't give anything up for lent anymore. There came a time when lent was ending one year, and I thought to myself if those things were good to give up, were never really important to me let alone the stuff that was actually bad, and I never needed them anyhow why just give it up then. Why not just change my whole life to give up much of the excesses I have never needed and live like that almost all the time.

Let's see...I gave up giving up stuff for Lent...biting my nails...swearing...I tried giving up working for Lent, but they threatened to fire me and I can't get by on my looks, so... :dunno:
