Happy and Harley

There's always been a chance. Does everyone think girls in the adult industry are off dating Brad Pitts and Chris Hemsworths?

No, adult industry people are people, too. It's just the average joe has a problem approaching said adult industry girl. How does that conversation even start, especially if said dude is a "fan" of your work? I can imagine the dynamic is a bit different. Either way, y'all have a nice time together. I just know that the 1 million fan boys minds just exploded at the thought they could date a porn star/adult entertainer and in kind, are probably jealous of Happy.

Right. Well the whole thing was sort of started by me. We never would've gotten together if I didn't ask, as he would've been too shy I think. Which is saying something considering I am too.

This is so totally true. And something tells me you just blew a shitload more minds. :D

I just love the title of this thread. One is happy and the other is Harley. One is not Harley and the other is not happy. Did you dump this loser yet?

There's definitely a chance if you and I were to meet under "normal" circumstances like any other two people and I wouldn't let out an awkward fart if you told me you were an online model or camgirl or whatever you want to call yourself. But directly through here or another forum where you are self-identified as adult entertainment industry talent? Not likely going to come together. We've (I speak as a male member of this forum and others) had it beaten into our heads by talent and those who are associated with them that we should not ever think there is any chance of meaningful interaction beyond the impersonal veil of forums and online cam chats and that it's inappropriate for us to even attempt it unless we've got $100 million in the bank and will spoil you rotten just for smiling at us. In other words, "Look, but you won't ever touch!". It's understandable, because you don't deserve to be hammered with annoying messages by men who want to be your potential suitor, but if you're really gonna go down that road of having a relationship with someone you connect with through this or whatever else you're using to interact with fans, while being visible to other men in the manner that you are, it's best that you not publicize it too much, lest you piss someone off who might think "Hey, why not me?! I talk to her too!". You have a right to do as you see fit, but best to err on the side of caution and not provoke the Wacky Weasel.

Would that sentiment be treated just the same if I had met him at a bar, club, party, wedding, grocery store, or library? Would you treat other girls the same, regardless of whether they show off their naked bodies online? Say a customer was hitting on a waitress, got her number, and they started dating. Would every other customer who ever hit on her have a right to get upset because she didn't date them too and cry, "Why not me?"

This is one of the attitudes that bugs me the most about girls who work in the adult industry. There have been numerous threads on here about seeing a porn star in the grocery store or other public place, who's slept with which porn star before or after they became famous, and many others along those lines. Do you know how many girls are doing porn, whether for a big company or small homemade videos? Thousands. There is no doubt in my mind that every single person on this forum has come across at least one girl in porn in their lives, whether they knew it or not, and many aren't recognized. We're just regular people. Millions of people have seen me at the grocery store, going on walks, sitting at the beach, at parties, at regular jobs, etc. Dozens have slept with me, and I've been in plenty of relationships. Very few have made a big deal out of it.

If anyone were to get angry that I'm dating someone who was/is my fan, perhaps rather than asking, "Why not me?" they should be asking, "Why him?" What makes him stand out from the rest? Why don't I sleep with every random fan who's ever paid me a compliment? Maybe because there's a little more depth to winning me over than a fat wallet and a cat call.

That is the same annoying attitude that every so-called nice guy has whined about girls supposedly only dating assholes. Maybe those guys aren't really all that nice, and who wants to sit around listening to a guy crying about not getting girls all the time? Self righteousness, entitlement and pity doesn't make anyone appealing. And something tells me that if all these nice guys suddenly, magically started getting laid left and right, pretty soon they would be just as cocky and equally assholish as the guys they used to bitch about, just the same as when someone poor becomes rich, someone ugly gets a makeover, a nerd becomes popular, it goes to their heads, they get massive egos, they lose all their old friends, everyone starts to hate them, and they end up right where they started. Alone and wallowing in self pity.

Anyway, if you knew much about me or bothered to read my forum posts over the years, you'd know that I don't leave much of my life out of my work. I am an open book. I've posted about my past relationships, sex problems, boyfriend problems, talked about my experiences with drinking, drugs, how high school was for me, some of what my family is like, my financial situations, etc. It's part of who I am and what makes me Harley Spencer. I like to stay as real as possible. The only things I'm not going to tell the world include my personal address, who my family is, what school I went to, what my cell phone number is, or anything else that might otherwise clue someone in to stalk me. Aside from that, I really don't care what people know about my personal life, and if anyone gets upset about it, that's not my problem, and they have bigger issues to worry about than why I'm not sleeping with them. They could start by looking in the mirror. Do some soul searching. Read a book. Take a psychology class. Think of someone other than themselves for a change. Maybe everyone else isn't the problem- maybe it's the guy in the mirror.

Oh and by the way, I don't cam. See first sentence of the last paragraph.

Did you dump this loser yet?

Thank you for your support!

Happy..... YOU STUD YOU!!
